Yoni Gordon @ Middle East Upstairs, Cambridge - July 21, 2006

After Monique Ortiz was Yoni Gordon - I'd make the comparison to Ted Leo but he's already addressed that issue on his own web site. It's an apt description since has the same driving falsetto and makes use of vocal inflections in the same way that Ted does. Of course, Ted has The Pharmacists backing him up and Yoni has audience members on the mike. This was strictly a one man on the guitar performance - kudos to him for performing on the concert floor instead of the stage.
