I was invited to attend the debut solo album launch of Leigh Nash, formerly of Sixpence None the Richer. She still has the pretty voice that launched her former band to the height of popular culture in the late ‘90s. Though I found the album to be average, her live acoustic set was vastly better - heavy-handed production can be blamed for the album being less than what it could be. Leigh is definitely charming and it comes through in her live performance - I just wish the album was on par with the live set.
