The Gin Blossoms played a free show at the Apple Store in SoHo in support of the release of their first album in a decade. Despite the fact that they had essentially been on the shelf for the better part of the last ten years, they haven't skipped a beat. They played a few songs off their new album but they devoted a good chunk of the setlist to their hit singles. Lead vocalist Robin Wilson had a blast playing at the Apple Store, making references to his computer being worked on at the Genius Bar and openly pleading for one of the t-shirts that the geniuses wear in exchange for performing "Hey Jealousy." Speaking of "Hey Jealousy", Robin sensed that there would be a number of people in the audience that would only know of that song and he assured them that they would get to that song after they got through some new stuff and, sure enough, they closed with it.
