When I spoke at the @nyrr Members event, I made a remark about how folks should run in small races so they can have a shot at finishing top 3 in their age group and feeling really good about it. I was mostly kidding but it really does feel kinda nice to get an award.
Finished third for my age group at the first (I think it was the first?) @queensdistance 10K. Next up is the @maratonvalencia this coming Sunday - I will guarantee I won’t finish in the top three for my age group there.
